[Everything's a mess and everyone needs some time to decompress, so Veronica doesn't go out looking for Monika immediately after Sandalphon is taken away. When she does, though, she lightly knocks on the wall to get her attention.]

[ It's for the best; Monika disappeared promptly and quite completely after the trial, only to resurface an hour or two later. Veronica will find her up in the tailor, leaning over to look through the various supplies and tools with a sort of idle air.

She glances up when she hears the sound, and...

... her brow knits low over a small smile. ]

I'm not really sure how to answer that, ahaha... calmer, I guess. [ She'll straighten up. ] I'm sorry about today. I really didn't want to cause so much trouble.

No, you're fine. If you want to see an example of causing too much trouble, you should take notes from Fitzgerald.

[And Sandalphon, but she feels bad bringing him up after everything. Dude's going to die tomorrow.]

Anyway, it's fine. You were doing what you needed to. That was actually the first time I've ever done the strip search... [ another laugh. ] But it was for the best. It was time I stopped hiding what I was doing to myself.
