And we don't even really know how to end the war.

... Wars usually end when only one side is left, right? [another cheery thought.] And we have three sides we know of: heroes, civilians, and villains.

... Then what about Dragon and Tiger? Do you think each of them is tied one side, and then... I don't know, civilians would make it a tie?

I don't know. We don't have enough information yet, and— There's something that's been bothering me for a while. Have you noticed the designs on the tapestries that are hung up in the foyer?

Are we talking about all the ink, or...?

[asswipe]

Not exactly. [shaking her head.] The ones in the foyer have four different designs on them. A tiger, a dragon, a girl, and some kind of monster.

... You're right. I hadn't thought about it before, but...

But it can't be a coincidence, right? There might be more to this war than we're seeing.

... I wouldn't be surprised. This entire situation is super convoluted as it is, and there's way too much we still don't really get.

Exactly. We don't know how the war begun, or why we have to be involved in the first place. It's shit.

Ha! Yeah, that's an apt description. Think the Crafters will cough up any more info now that we're heading into the third week?

Only if it gets a reaction out of us. Or fucks us over somehow. [shrugs!!] But I don't think we'd lose more than we already have by fishing for info.

Yeah... we can't just spend each week focusing only on the murders.
