[ rapunzel's just in the library, surrounded by like 20 books, but she smiles and waves when she sees veronica. ]

Hiii, Veronica! Come on in. I always have time for you.

[Bless her. Veronica shuffles over, glancing at the books she currently has in her pile.]

What are you reading?

[hairbrain]

Oh, you know, this and that. [ the titles range from practical skills like first aid and anatomy to the fairy tales featured in the titles. someone's educating herself!!! ]

I keep hoping I'll find a clue somewhere, but it's nice to catch up.

[asswipe]

[She snorts.]

Don't forget to let me know if you do find something. I've been driving myself insane trying to make sense of this mess.

Me, too. The only thing that's really unusual, is this book.

[ she points to the leather bound one. ] You can't take it out of the library, no matter how you try it.

And it's the only one that talks something that happened here, too. Everything else is fairy tales and non-fiction books.

[It's disconcerting and she doesn't like it.]

Hence why we can't remove it.

... I wonder how much it has to do with our situation. Their story, I mean.
