But if more of us die before "enough" people complete their objectives, will we really have that option? We don't know what counts at enough.

If we don’t have enough people, then we obviously cannot reach that good end.

However, I guess that asking the Crafters directly may answer the question of “how much is enough”. At the very worst, we won’t get an answer.
